We are back!

After a few months of lock down, we started the season with more enthusiasm than ever. For this, we have prepared everything taking every detail and every corner of the hotel. Starting from the simplest such as a room to one of the sun beds at the pool. Our teams has received exhaustive training to always follow an appropriate procedure for the current situation and so that the client can continue to feel safe at home GPRO Valparaio Palace.

Through this virtual tour of all the rooms of the hotel, we want to make our community know in a closer and more informal way each measure we are taking to make your stay as pleasant as possible, even knowing the situation in which we are, without forgetting our true Paradise.

Let’s start from the beginning: arrival at the hotel. At the main entrance of our Urban Safe Resort there is a single entry and exit access; thus we avoid crowds and direct encounters. Just by going through the main door, the customer will be able to find a carpet with disinfectant on which they will drag their feet and another one right next to it where they can dry them. In the same place where the carpet is located, you have disinfectant gel and masks at your disposal as well as the protocol to follow in the common areas of the hotel, such as the use of masks ... all of this to convey a sense of safety and hygiene from the first moment. Once we passed that first phase, we go to the reception. At the reception, our colleagues Fany, Maria, Laura, Juanma or Luis will be waiting for us with a smile hidden behind a white mask. They will be the ones who will inform about the security protocols and those who advise in case there is any doubt about possible changes in the facilities; always accompanied by a glass of cava or juice. Within the same reception team we can meet Paco or Juan Carlos, who will help us carry the luggage to the room, always maintaining the safety distance and previously with disinfection of the outside of our luggage.

Once the welcome process is finished, we go to the elevators in which only person from the same family unit can go up and down at the same time. From the elevator and on our corresponding floor we will have access to our room. Before introducing the key to access the room, we can see that there is a paper circumference on the doorknob, which will indicate that the room is disinfected. All rooms are disinfected using a device with a disinfectant product certified by the Spanish Ministry of Health, through which total disinfection is achieved in all spaces and corners.

As soon as the client is accommodated in the room, he will notice that non-essential decorative elements have been removed and that he has at his disposal a SAFETY WELCOME PACK with a mask for each of the guests, disinfectant alcohol, glass cups with plastic prior to use, laminated television control and directory and general information of the hotel on TV. It should also be noted that every time the client requests an extra pillow, it is wrapped in protective plastic and the same plastic is always removed in front of the client.

Having a soft drink on the private terrace of each room enjoying the wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea, we can choose between several options to start our stay. One of them would be to spend the day in gardens and swimming pools or even go to the SPA and to have a treatment among a wide range of varieties. Regarding the thermal circuit, we have adapted to the new reality by reducing its duration to one hour and operating only by appointment, there is the possibility of extending it to one more hour subject to availability and leaving room for disinfection. The thermal circuit is desinfected every hour. In the same spa area we can find a fully equipped gym, disinfected and with alcohol gels in which each guest must be responsible for cleaning pre and post use. On the other hand, we have 22,800 m2 of gardens and swimming pools where we can enjoy with our partner or family the wonderful views of Palma city, the Bellver castle and its green area, as well as listening to the pleasant sound of the waterfall. All this always with the correct safety distance between sun beds and all of them will be clearly marked with the message "desinfected" or "do not use".

Last and not least, it is the gastronomic part. Either first thing in the morning for breakfast or for a romantic dinner on the terrace on a hot summer night. At breakfast in the Paraíso restaurant, we have a gel machine at the entrance to disinfect our hands, the F&B team will also attend us to assist us to our disinfected table. All the way to the table we will do it with masks until we go to sit down to eat or drink. Our breakfast is buffet, one of the most complete in the island. All food and drinks are protected with methacrylate screens, and the kitchen team will provide or prepare what we want. If the same morning we do not feel like going to the restaurant for breakfast, an alternative would be to request room breakfast option the day before. For lunch or dinner, are both served at the Bistro Mar Bar Restaurant, which has a terrace with pool and city view. At the entrance of the restaurant you will also find a gel spreader and sanitized tables. In the restaurant, the menu can be consulted through a QR that you can find on your table, which you can look at while the waiter prepares the table in the safest way to enjoy the pleasant evening.

Despite living a time of changes in terms of hygiene or disinfection, it should be noted that since GPRO Valparaiso Palace we have been doing this type of protocol for years. For us it has been to complement new elements with other factors. Moreover, the whole complex is for the sole purpose of making our clients' stay in a true Paradise in which they can feel at home and at the same time treated like kings.
